Unfortunately my DDNS have already expired for a month. So renew it with free trial for 30days and a little bit configuration to my router and dvr. And tadaaaa

PMA has been approved

Finally after been waitin for a month. The PMA for elevator application has been approved from DOSH.

Repair circuit board.

Saturday morning nothing much to do. Today i show you that a weak soldering can make electronic equipment failed to working.

This is an example circuit board yesterday i took from EM Lock.

When i begin to inspect. I found a weak soldering underneath the pcb for the supply connector.

 A rounded soldering is not good. Cause by not enough heated. Less flux or not using good quality soldering lead.

You can save money by doing a rework on the pcb.

Remove the connector from pcb. Cleaned the pcb with sand paper or brush and placed it back together with new solder lead.

Thats all. You may keep it for use it as a spare part in the future.

Servicing door lock taken from scrap swing door

Hello and good morning. This time we gonna service this door lock i get it from a scrap door. This method is a economic way to save your money rather than buy new one set for over RM400.

Remove all screw attached on the plate

This type of door lock. We can change the position of latchin. Either to right side or left side.

Ready to be cleaned up.

After cleaned put it all back together

And the result....

When you have spare of this lock. You can make a small profit with it. $$$$$

Replace circuit board for EM Lock

Today I'm going to show the better ways to repair and saving your $$$ for EM Lock. Most of technician nowdays always taking a shortcut by spending more $$$ to replace new set if EM Lock.

Common problem in EM Lock is on the circuit board. Loose connection, leak diode, blown capacitor and resistor.

On the left side is the spoiled circuit board while the right side is recond unit (i fix it to replace new diode and ceramic cap.

Petang ni xde ape nak buat. Luangkan masa sekejap.

Arini kita pasang balik cctv mane yg da repair. Memandangkan cctv ni jenis cs mount, xde link dgn pc. So kita kene buat manual adjustment pada lens.

Punca cctv no power

Setelah menghabiskan masa setengah jam membelek circuit board db voltage dlm cctv honeywell ni akhirnya jumpa penyebabnye. 

Nampak x yg ade 3 pin tapi yg tengahnya kontot? Codename K3984 tapi bila cari dalam web rs componet 1 pun xde yg kena mengena. Bila test dari db board yg ok output dia tunjukkan voltage output 4v. Mane pulak nak cari smd yg output voltage 4v? Biasa guna 5v je. Apepun esok pegi kedai electronic parts depan pudu plaza or jalan pasar try pakai yg 5v punya tgk ade side effect x pada componet.

Checking cctv

Arini byk habiskan masa ntuk cek cctv. Skali rosak sampai serentak dtg.

Untuk bulan ni start kat basement 3 punya. Ada yg rosak board, ade yg rosak power supply & kene calibrate lens balik. Ni la antara keje2 aku yg bdk technician site lain jarang buat atau x buat langsung (terlalu bergantung pada sumber luar aka kontraktor)

Hasil menuai tadi

Ade tanda2 corrosive pada board dgn frane body. Kebanyakkan kamera ni dekat dgn tangki air. Lagi satu ventilation sistem sini pun kurang baik. Boleh bau chlorine.

Jam skang da tunjukkan kul 1 ptg. Lunch hour skang ni tp sebab terlalu enjoy nak wat keje ni aku slalu skip kuar makan lunch.

oleh sebab masa keje aku yg tight sampai xde masa nak pegi ke ofis CIDB kat jalan pahang tu untuk renew green card aku... terpaksa guna cara online... tapi memang super lambat... -______-"

Musim barang rosak.

Bulan ni 2 barang rosak. Winding motor dgn bearing. 2-2 motor ni khas ntuk pam swimming pool. 

Temporary ambil pam dari sebelah. Pam sebelahnye sand filter bocor so x pakai rembat dulu wat sementara.

Winding da short... Bearing berkarat. Ni la kelemahan bila guna motor yg bearingnye xde port grease.

Baru je iklankan job terbuka dlm facebook. Sape berkenan bole masuk harga. Yg bawah ni pun sama tapi 3phasr motor pun short winding, bearing out, shaft kene balancing balik.

Mifare usb reader

Just buy this stuff. Called mifare usb reader. Only support mifare card. Just plug and play to use as an handytool for me to read and register mifare numbering card into access control system.
